EVIDENCE-LED POST-HARVEST INTELLIGENCE

Understand visible produce quality before it reaches the market.

KarpoLink combines up to three photographs of the same crop batch with declared variety, origin, harvest time, and days after harvest. The report separates what is visible from what is declared, explains limitations, and recommends physical checks where a photograph cannot provide certainty.

THE QUALITY WORKFLOW

Four guided stages, completed in order.

Each stage unlocks only after the previous one is complete, helping sellers create a consistent crop record instead of skipping essential context.

01

Photograph the batch

Capture one clear main view and optionally add two supporting angles for a more representative visible sample.

02

Declare crop context

Select the variety, farm or district, harvest time, and the number of days since harvest.

03

Review scientific findings

Read the score, crop confidence, visible observations, marketability, handling risks, limitations, and next actions.

04

Attach the report

Assign or photograph the matching Karpolax-issued packaging QR and save the final traceable batch record.

FIVE CROP-SPECIFIC MODELS

Different crops are assessed against different visible cues.

The operating windows below are Karpolax guidance at 12 to 20 degrees Celsius. They are not a guaranteed prediction of remaining shelf life.

Mangoes5 to 14 days

Visual focus: skin colour, lenticels, shrivelling, sap burn, bruising, and decay-like lesions.

Avocado4 to 8 days

Visual focus: skin condition, shape, visible bruising, shrivelling, cuts, and external maturity cues.

Bananas5 to 12 days

Visual focus: peel colour, angularity, crown condition, scarring, pressure marks, and spotting.

Oranges15 to 30 days

Visual focus: peel integrity, rind colour, shrivelling, punctures, mould-like growth, and uniformity.

Tomatoes3 to 6 days

Visual focus: ripening colour, cracking, blossom-end condition, bruising, shrivelling, and decay-like damage.

WHAT THE REPORT CAN DO

Turn a photograph into organised visible evidence.

  • Assess visible morphology, colour distribution, uniformity, and surface integrity
  • Explain suspected visual patterns without claiming a laboratory diagnosis
  • Recommend sorting, handling, physical checks, and immediate market action
  • Download a readable report and attach it to the batch QR
WHAT IT CANNOT CLAIM

Clear boundaries protect trust.

  • No photograph can confirm internal damage, microbial safety, pesticide residue, taste, or odour
  • Declared origin and harvest details remain seller-provided context
  • Shelf-life ranges are operating guidance, not a guarantee
  • Low-quality images reduce confidence and are explained in the report
