About the role
Develop reproducible sachet formulations and materials that perform consistently under intended storage, transport, and handling conditions.
Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into measurable formulation and material specifications.
- Investigate stability, moisture response, containment, and performance.
- Develop manufacturing methods, process controls, and supplier specifications.
- Work with quality specialists on batch acceptance and investigations.
Experience and skills
- Formulation or functional-material development
- Designed experimentation and reliable measurement
- Manufacturing documentation and practical troubleshooting
Equivalent practical experience is welcome.
First 90 days
- A map of the current formulation, process, and sources of variability.
- A documented prototype comparison and proposed critical quality attributes.
Working at Karpolax
We develop produce-preservation sachets and operate KarpoLink, a platform for fresh produce trade, quality analysis, and batch traceability.
Our operations are based in Uganda. Work location, contract type, pay, and travel requirements will be discussed before an offer.
