About the role
Establish financial clarity, controls, and coordinated compliance support for product sales and marketplace transactions. A fractional engagement may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile company revenue, platform fees, and amounts owed to sellers.
- Establish payment authorization, cash forecasting, expense documentation, and reporting.
- Map obligations for selected activities and trade corridors with specialist support.
- Maintain a compliance calendar and escalate unresolved financial or contractual issues.
Experience and skills
- Reconciliation and management reporting
- Financial controls and cash planning
- Careful interpretation and escalation of compliance requirements
Equivalent practical experience is welcome.
First 90 days
- A reconciled financial baseline and practical reporting pack.
- Payment controls, a responsibilities calendar, and a register of unresolved compliance questions.
